When it comes to German cuisine, you might think of beer, pork knuckle, or the Munich Oktoberfest, but German food is so much more than that. The highlight of German cuisine lies in its diversity—its world-renowned beer and wine culture, as well as the high quality of its local produce. Each year, Germany hosts the largest wine festival in the country, offering a rich variety of flavors. There are also many local delicacies, pastries, and more, such as Black Forest cake.

In addition, you can actually enjoy fresh oysters and other seafood in Germany. For example, Hamburg, located in northern Germany, is not only the country’s second-largest city, but also a port city and a hub of art and culture.
