The "Osaka Yodo River Fireworks Festival" is now in its 28th year. The fireworks display will begin at 7:40 PM on August 6 and continue for a full hour. According to the fan page "Osaka Lovers," one of the most popular features — the water fireworks — will create the effect of a giant semi-circle of blooms on the water’s surface, resembling a peacock spreading its tail. In addition to the water fireworks, the aerial displays are also quite spectacular.
However, please note that for a better viewing experience, paid seating areas are available on-site, starting at 2,000 yen per person. Travelers may also consider taking a "Yodo River Fireworks Cruise" to enjoy the full grandeur of the event.
