Hiddenwithin Yingge’s “Yarome Fairyland,” it is Taiwan’s first tourist factory themed around perfume, where the four guardian sprites of Yarome lead visitors through a diverse olfactory experience. You can also DIY a “Fairy Scent Bag” or “Aroma Diffuser Bottle.” There are also 3D displays for interactive photos. The guides are very friendly, and the entire tour is accompanied by delightful fragrances, making it a truly pleasant experience.

That day, after visiting the “Coca-Cola Museum,” we were caught in a sudden downpour—the rain was so heavy the roads were flooded. We ended up taking shelter at the “Yarome Fairyland” by chance. Even without a reservation, we were given a personal guide throughout the tour—truly VIP treatment. The “Yarome Fairyland” offers group guided tours for parties of 15 or more, but they also serve individual visitors too.

The “Yarome Fairyland” was created by Asia’s largest fragrance manufacturer, “Rui Ze Enterprise,” which started with car air fresheners and has continuously invested in R&D to produce and sell a wide range of eco-compliant fragrance products that meet European and American environmental standards. Their products are currently exported to over 47 countries worldwide.
“Rui Ze” wanted to establish a tourist factory to showcase the unique culture of the professional fragrance industry, so in 2017, Taiwan’s first story-driven fragrance tourist factory—the “Yarome Fairyland”—was born.
In the Rainbow Forest, there are 8 types of scents: Fresh, Mossy, Oriental Floral, Gourmand, Floral, Woody, Fougere, and Oriental. Next to each scent is a fragrance pendant you can smell to discover your favorite.

To enter the world of Yarome Fairies, you must first pass through a magical forest and steep cliffs—it seems quite an adventure just to reach your destination. Wow—Kohana did great, facing the challenges fearlessly.

After overcoming all the obstacles, the little fairies came to greet us.
You can actually see the factory’s production line, and the tour guide sister also explained the origin and development of the “Yarome Fairyland.” We got to see and smell Rui Ze’s best-selling car air freshener for export. Of course, they generously gave it to us. It gives off a natural scent in the car—not the harsh chemical smell.

Beyond the production line, there are several 3D paintings that are super photogenic. Kohana got really into the scenes—it’s perfect for anyone who loves taking pictures.
Using projection on a water screen, the images of the fairies are displayed, as if the fairies themselves are introducing the “Yarome Fairyland.” Kohana found it fascinating and watched it over and over.
Since only Snoopy and Kohana were visiting that day, the guide sister played the projections multiple times at Kohana’s request. Snoopy was really impressed that the guides were not only young and pretty, but also extremely kind. They took great care of Kohana and even helped her go to the bathroom. That’s why Snoopy highly recommends the “Yarome Fairyland.”
We decided to do the DIY first before exploring other areas. DIY options include Fairy Scent Bag DIY NT$150, DIY Mosquito Repellent NT$199, and Aroma Diffuser Bottle DIY NT$350. Snoopy originally wanted to make the diffuser bottle, but one ticket can only be used for one DIY, so we all chose the Fairy Scent Bag DIY.
The colorful fragrance beads let you smell them first before deciding which scent to choose. You can select a single fragrance or mix them based on your preference.
First, put the selected fragrance beads into a breathable pouch, wrap it up, then choose your favorite outer bag and package the beads inside. It’s a simple DIY that even Kohana could do on her own. The scent she made—well, let’s just say it reflected her taste… hehe.
Finally, place two bags into a transparent plastic bag and you’re done. The scent bags can be placed in rooms or closets to keep the space filled with a lovely fragrance.
Inside the Fairyland, there are four master perfumers: the Love Sprite Freya, Elder Heimdall, the Bountiful Freyr, and the Forest Guardian Bragi. Get to know what each sprite specializes in.

Freyja’s home is so beautiful—with a white fireplace, sparkling crystal chandelier, and luxurious sofa… it’s not just a place to learn about perfume ingredients, it’s also great for photos.
Cola-Na looks so mature with that mask on, almost like some mysterious lady—haha. Flat-nose Cola-Na had to hold the mask up with her hand because it kept sliding down without a bridge, but the photos still turned out pretty stylish.
What kind of supermodel pose is this? And with your mouth slightly open?!
We didn’t get enough shots of Brady—he’d have told you about the magic to eliminate pet odors and ways to improve bad smells in the environment.
It feels like you’ve stepped into lavender-filled Provence. This area introduces the process of essential oil production and perfume blending. The castle design plus the purple lavender make for another fantastic photo backdrop.
I wanted Cola-Na to squat as if she were enjoying the scent of flowers, but she ended up looking like she’s using the restroom…
The projection screen plays videos about the story of fragrances and the automated production process of fragrance essences.

The rooftop garden with artificial turf lets kids run around and gives visitors a place to stroll and relax. Too bad it was raining today, so even letting Cola-Na stretch her legs wasn’t possible.
