After three years of planning, Koo Chung-Li, Chairman of CMFG Leasing, and Tang Wenjun, Executive Chef of TransGlobe Tourism, continuously tested recipes. Their first off-site restaurant under a new brand, "President's Beef Noodles," finally officially opened on July 28. Koo Chung-Li said that beef noodles must balance the meat, noodles, and broth, all of which need to be fresh. He also proudly stated that their beef noodles are completely different from those on the market.

Beef Noodle): C stands for Comfort, soothing the homesick taste buds of travelers with delicious flavors that comfort the soul; E stands for Economical, offering affordable noodles, simple rice dishes, and side dishes; O stands for Original, representing Taiwan’s most iconic original beef noodles. Tang Wenjun added that he hopes to create beef noodles at an accessible price using five-star hotel ingredients.

A good bowl of beef noodles requires balancing the meat, noodles, and broth. Tang Wenjun pointed out that the broth for the President’s series uses specially selected beef marrow bones, chicken feet, ginger, celery, and other ingredients as the base, along with 23 other ingredients including Sichuan peppercorn, cardamom, cinnamon, and dried tangerine peel, crafted through 47 procedures to form a secret recipe. This is then combined with premium beef shin, stir-fried with nine types of sauces such as Chu Hou sauce, red fermented tofu, and broad bean paste, and simmered for 8 hours to achieve a smooth texture with a slight gelatinous mouthfeel.

Meanwhile, the President's Five-Treasure Beef Noodles include five different flavors and textures in one bowl: beef shin, beef tripe, beef tendon, snowflake beef slices, and oxtail. The most unique feature is that, in addition to the complimentary side dishes, ordering the President's Five-Treasure Beef Noodles also comes with a small glass of red wine (only this noodle dish includes the wine), marking the first time such an offering has appeared on the market.
