A magnificent sight that transforms from golden to orange-red—so romantic, it’s like paradise. But this isn’t Europe or Japan—it’s Taiwan’s newest photogenic hotspot, the Tanzih Tropicbird Forest in Taichung. Though it has already attracted a large number of visitors, this private estate hasn’t officially opened yet. So unless you know the owner, you can only capture the red foliage-covered hills from a distance.
The colors of the tropicbird trees change with the seasons. From November to February in winter, you might catch a glimpse of their vivid red leaves, but the lush greenery during other times is equally captivating. Aerial shots of the tropicbird forest make the trees look like little strawberries—super adorable. But getting to this estate is no easy feat—the hiking paths and roads are extremely narrow, proving that breathtaking views always come at a price.
Walking along the red leaf-lined path feels like strolling through a park in Europe or America. It’s said that the Tanzih Tropicbird Forest will open to the public in the near future, so hopefully everyone can enjoy capturing these dreamy scenes next winter!
