Attention anime fans ! The 2019 Taipei International Animation & Comics Festival is here ! This year’s event boasts plenty of highlights , including exclusive and limited-edition merchandise and exhibits , as well as meet - and - greet and autograph sessions with both domestic and international celebrities and voice actors that fans have been looking forward to the most , along with performances by a popular Japanese girl idol group , and a special exhibition featuring Japan’s super - popular virtual idol “ Hatsune Miku ” !

The festival also collaborates with the “ World Cosplay Summit ” to host the Taiwan Representative COSPLAY Selection Contest . One of the highlights of the 2019 Taipei International Animation & Comics Festival is the performance by “ AKB48 Team 8 ” at the festival , as well as the Taiwan debut performances by “ PUNITAN ” , “ Sakuraebi ( sakura shrimp ) ” , and “ Yoko no Oniko ( demon fox ) ” .
