Yilan’s most beautiful cherry blossom viewing spot, the “Luozhuang Cherry Blossom Trail,” is about to enter its blooming season. In early February, the gorgeous double-flowered cherry blossoms (yaezakura) will be the first to bloom, with the flowering period continuing until the end of March – allowing visitors to admire this beautiful scenery throughout.
Every year in February, the cherry blossoms along the Luozhuang Cherry Blossom Trail in Yilan are in full bloom, creating an absolutely breathtaking sight.
A row of cherry blossom trees lines both sides of the riverbank, forming a one-kilometer-long corridor that bursts into elegant bloom every February.
The long line of cherry blossom trees is spectacular and highly photogenic.
Located in Luodong, Yilan, the Luozhuang Cherry Blossom Trail sits alongside the Luodong Sixteenth Fen Canal. It is Taiwan’s first flatland riverside cherry blossom viewing spot. The trail stretches one kilometer and is planted with over 1,200 cherry trees.
The delicately pink and vibrant cherry blossoms look beautiful in any photo.
The cherry blossoms planted along the riverbank include Yoshino cherry and yaezakura varieties, and the site is free and open to the public. It’s sure to attract large crowds during the holiday season.
Last year, the Luozhuang Cherry Blossom Trail also had lighting, allowing visitors to enjoy the beauty of the night blossoms.
