Japanese photographer Takashi Nakazawa is captivated by Mount Fuji and often captures its magnificent scenery on weekends. One of his photographs of Mount Fuji was recently featured on the cover of National Geographic Traveler.
Takashi takes about 10,000 photos each year, presenting Mount Fuji in 3 distinct styles: color, black and white, and "blue ink." Although each style conveys a different mood, one thing remains constant—the awe-inspiring presence of Mount Fuji.
Sometimes Takashi shoots at night or early in the morning, with tones highlighting the tranquility and mysterious charm of this natural wonder. His photos show the sacred peak towering above white clouds and mist, reflected in the glassy lakes nearby.
