The date is set！Tim Ho Wan’s Kaohsiung Hanshin Dome Store to begin soft opening on 8/5

We’ve kept our friends in Kaohsiung waiting for so long！After much delay in announcing the opening date, Tim Ho Wan’s Kaohsiung Hanshin Dome Store has finally revealed it will begin a soft opening on August 5, with business starting at 11:00 AM that day.

The Hanshin Dome Store spans 106 ping and offers 114 seats. To celebrate Tim Ho Wan’s first foray into Kaohsiung with this soft opening, the brand’s chef team has specially created two exclusive new dishes for the Hanshin Dome Store: Sticky Rice Balls in Sweet Soy Sauce (Tang Bu Sha) and Osmanthus Shrimp Lotus Balls.

The “Sticky Rice Balls in Sweet Soy Sauce” are made from glutinous rice and simmered in a sweet syrup. After being scooped out, they are plated and sprinkled with toppings such as peanut powder and white sesame, resulting in a crispy, smooth, and sweet texture. The “Osmanthus Shrimp Lotus Balls” feature local Taiwanese seafood fillings and a crispy, fragrant outer crust. In response to the hot and humid southern weather, the team has also specially paired Taipei Xinyi Store’s bestseller, “White Pepper Pork Tripe Soup,” with the Sticky Rice Balls and Osmanthus Shrimp Lotus Balls to form a chef’s recommended set.
