Luggage not loaded onto plane 5,500 ANA passengers' trips disrupted

This morning (August 12), several ANA flights departing from Tokyo Haneda Airport experienced issues with baggage conveyors, resulting in luggage not being checked in, affecting a total of 5,500 passengers.
According to Japanese media reports, one of the two baggage conveyors at ANA's airport had a sensor malfunction at 6:25 am, disrupting normal baggage transport. Although it was resolved about 40 minutes later, it caused delays of over 30 minutes for 19 flights bound for Hokkaido and Kyushu, affecting approximately 5,500 passengers. Delta Air Lines also experienced a global system outage on August 8, affecting nearly 1,000 flights; Japan Airlines also had an issue in April with an abnormality in the aircraft center of gravity calculation system, impacting a total of 6,670 passengers.
