Travel Center / Comprehensive Report
Autumn has arrived before we know it. Starting September 2, Sheraton Taipei's Chanyuan, Qingkelou, and Taoshan have selected a variety of fresh live crabs and, through the skilled hands of their chefs, are offering a range of delicious crab dishes. These include Chanyuan’s Singapore-style Spicy & Sour Crab, Qingkelou’s Clay Pot Pickled Bamboo Shoots with Female Crab, and Taoshan’s customizable dishes featuring female crab, snow crab, and king crab.
Continuing last year’s success and positive reviews, Chanyuan is once again introducing “Singapore-style Spicy & Sour Crab,” “Ginger & Scallion Stir-fried Male Crab with Rice Noodles,” and “Fermented Black Bean Sauce with Green Chili and Crab.” These allow you to savor the flavors of Southeast Asia and authentic Cantonese-style autumn crab in one go, priced at NT$180 per two taels + 10%. Qingkelou offers six savory and appetizing dishes made with female crab, including the crowd-favorite Clay Pot Pickled Bamboo Shoots with Female Crab, Three-Cup Female Crab, Scallion & Ginger Female Crab, Dry-Braised Female Crab, Garlic Female Crab, and Sautéed Female Crab, priced at NT$150 per two taels + 10% and up.
In addition, starting October 15, Taoshan will carefully select Japan’s three most famous crabs — female crab, snow crab, and king crab — and the chef will prepare customized dishes for diners using these three types of crab. Pricing will be based on market rates.
