Brand Origin:
GOLDWIN, known as 高得运 in Chinese, is a brand established in 1958 by Japan’s GOLDWIN Corporation, sharing the same name as the company. Since its inception, the brand has collaborated with world-class sports teams and athletes, dedicated to developing high-quality skiwear.
The name “GOLDWIN” literally means “gold + victory.” In ancient Greece, the birthplace of the Olympics, victors were referred to as “GOLD WINNERS.” The brand name was inspired by the heartfelt wish that all athletes could become gold medalists.

1958: Began producing sportswear under the GOLDWIN brand.
1959: Started producing and selling ski sweaters.
1963: Officially changed the company name to GOLDWIN; products were adopted for the Tokyo Olympic Games from the same year.
1966: Developed a windproof sweater and obtained a patent for it.
1970: Introduced a newly designed, three-dimensional ski pants.

Products:
In addition to skiwear, the GOLDWIN brand also offers a cycling apparel series and a motorcycle clothing series. Across all product lines, the brand consistently pursues meticulous craftsmanship and wearer comfort.
The Brand in China:
In addition to Beijing Aoguanying Co., Ltd., GOLDWIN established another subsidiary—GOLDWIN (Shanghai) Garment Trading Co., Ltd.—in 2004, and began formally entering the Chinese ski market. It has been the official designated skiwear sponsor of the Chinese National Alpine Ski Team since 2007.
Currently, only the skiwear product line has been launched in the Chinese market. Bicycle and motorcycle apparel series have not yet been officially sold in China.
The styles released in the Chinese ski market are the “overseas versions” tailored by GOLDWIN for international markets. Compared to the “Japan version” sold domestically, these use higher-grade fabrics and different design cuts, improving warmth and other performance features to suit the colder climates of Europe, North America, or northern China. Pricing in the Chinese market is aligned with that in Europe and North America. The products are mainly available in regions of China where the ski industry is more active.
