Awards and Departure Ceremony for the Outdoor Dreams Realization Campaign
7Month23Day, the sixth“Experience Unlimited-Gore-Tex Outdoor Dreams Realization”Awards and Departure Ceremony was grandly held at the modern Beijing SanlitunSOHO. The event unveiled the2012year Gore-Tex Outdoor Dreams Realization campaign's four annual champion teams, the Subaru Special Route, the Traveler Award, and many other honors.
This event not only saw active participation from numerous outdoor enthusiasts but also invited well-known figures in China’s outdoor sports community, including famous TV host A’Se, hiking explorer Lei Diansheng, humanistic geography photographer Hongxing, Secretary-General Li Changfa of the Outdoor Products Branch of the China Textile Commercial Association, Cheng Zhanqun, Xiao Shiyilang, and dozens of other industry leaders. Nearly 200 brand representatives, experts, scholars, and media reporters gathered to witness this major event in China’s outdoor sports scene. Since the launch of this year’s campaign, over just five months, a total of7009outdoor travel proposals were submitted—surpassing the combined total of the previous five editions—and featuring an increasing number of innovative and challenging high-quality plans.
The awards ceremony and departure event kicked off with the distinctive dance "Setting Sail." This was followed by the video segment "Journey of Dreams," where judges' representative A’Se and past champions’ representative Miao Yufeng emotionally recounted the six-year commitment to dreams and their personal inspirations from participating in the campaign. When dancers used“ink dance”to write out the“Experience Unlimited”keyword—the core theme of the event—they sent the atmosphere soaring. Amidst the eager anticipation of travelers and attendees, the four highly competitive champion teams were finally revealed.
The professional mountaineering champion team set their sights on an unclimbed peak in the eastern section of the Nyenchen Tanglha Range, vowing to blaze a new route for Chinese climbers and conquer a new summit.
