The GARMONT brand was introduced to China in 2001 by Beijing Sangwentong Company as an outdoor mountaineering footwear brand. It was the first international professional mountaineering footwear brand to enter the Chinese outdoor market. In November 2006, Xialangduoji Company was established to exclusively manage the GARMONT brand. Many who have worn these shoes praise them highly, saying they fit snugly and are very comfortable.
