From November 21 to 22, 2012, the global training event for the 150th anniversary of the renowned German outdoor brand Edelrid was held at the Tonglai Liu Changzhong Climbing Gym in Shenzhen, also known as "Pengcheng." The event coincided with the "2012 Edelrid Cup Shenzhen Bouldering Competition."

The 150th-anniversary product training for the German brand Edelrid was led by the product R&D department and rock climbing enthusiast Milan. On the morning of the 21st, they introduced Edelrid’s outdoor sports products, including climbing ropes, harnesses, slings, carabiners, climbing shoes, via ferrata equipment, helmets, and climbing apparel, with a focus on the 2013 3D harness and the world’s lightest 19-gram quickdraw. On the 22nd, the training covered Edelrid’s industrial equipment, such as modular, detachable rescue harnesses, as well as industrial dynamic and static ropes.
On the evening of November 21, 2012, the "2012 Edelrid Cup Shenzhen Bouldering Competition" was held concurrently at the Liu Changzhong Climbing Gym. It featured four categories: Men's Open, Women's Open, Novice, and Children's, attracting over a hundred rock climbing enthusiasts who visited and participated in the event.

Edelrid dealers, outdoor enthusiasts, and rock climbing fans from across the country attended the training and bouldering competition.




The German brand Edelrid was founded in 1863 and is one of the oldest outdoor brands in the world. Its products are certified under the rigorous Blue Sign system, and most meet or exceed UIAA and CE certification standards.
