According to Lonely Planet’s website,the East Kent College in the UK invested millions to transform its school building into a luxurious boutique hotel. The building is a historic structure over a hundred years old. After renovation, the space includes 23 guest rooms, 5 suites, a restaurant, and more. Guests can also enjoy spa and salon services.

This is the first university in the UK to have its own hotel, serving as a form of industry-academia collaboration where students can intern directly at the school-operated hotel. Culinary arts students can learn under the guidance of award-winning chef Ben Williams.
