– “Red Bull Energy vs. Changbai” First Northern China Skiing Challenge – North China Division Competition Ends in Intense Showdown

On January 12, 2013, sponsored by Red Bull Vitamin Drink Co., Ltd. and organized by Green Field Outdoor Network, the “Red Bull Energy vs. Changbai – First Northern China Skiing Challenge” concluded successfully at Secret Garden Resort in Miyun after the previous competition in the Northeast Division. This event attracted over 30 teams (both snowboard and alpine skiing) and more than 90 participants, who engaged in intense yet friendly competition under the rare winter sunshine in North China. The champions of the snowboard and alpine skiing divisions were respectively Team 2 of Free Zone Club and Team 1 of Crazy 2 Speed Racing, who will advance to the final held at Wanda Changbai Mountain International Ski Resort on March 2.

On Saturday, despite heavy smog in most areas, Secret Garden Resort in Miyun enjoyed unexpected blue skies, white clouds, and windless weather, with snow conditions reaching their best in recent days. Athletes could not hide their joy upon stepping onto the slopes and eagerly raced down from the mountain top.

The organizers carefully designed the course to enhance participation while ensuring top athletes could perform at their best. After the start, athletes quickly entered the nine-pack section, which tested the full range of their skiing skills, followed by the downhill section showcasing the speed control of the experts. Against the backdrop of blue skies, the course twisted like a silver dragon. Athletes leapt, chased, and sprinted along the track, shedding the gloom and unleashing positive energy to the fullest.

At the award ceremony following the competition, those advancing enjoyed the joy of winning honors and happily posed for the camera on stage to capture these unforgettable moments, bringing a perfect close to this leg of the event. Everyone is now looking forward to March 2 – “Red Bull Energy, Final Battle at Changbai.”
