In 2012, the ISPO BEIJING ON SNOW DEMO snow test event was held in China for the first time. This passionate and joyful event attracted over 120 skiing enthusiasts from across the country, including retailers, media, and members of partner clubs.
The first ON SNOW DEMO event received strong support from many well-known brands in the industry. Leading winter sports brands such as Nordica, NIRTO, TECNICA, Blizzard, K2, Black Diamond, Scarpa, Never Summer, Lobster, Switch Back, Bataleon, Northwave, DRAKE, Phenix, Smith Optics, Zerofit, all showcased their latest products for the upcoming snow season for free trial skiing and experiences.
Following the successful event in 2012, the second "ISPO BEIJING ON SNOW DEMO snow test event" will maintain strong momentum, making its dazzling debut on March 3-4, 2013 at the Secret Garden Resort in Chongli, Zhangjiakou, immediately after the conclusion of the ISPO BEIJING 2013 exhibition. During the two-day event, participants including retailers, media, and representatives of high-end enthusiasts will have the opportunity to experience the latest products for the 2014 snow season in a real ski resort environment and enjoy a grand industry party together.

Exclusive Partner Ski Resort: Secret Garden Resort
"Secret Garden Resort" is located in Chongli County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, nestled within the Da Maqun Mountain Range where the Taihang and Yanshan Mountains meet. It was invested in and built by Malaysia’s Genting Group and Excellence Group (hence the name Genting Resort). With an average annual temperature of just 3.3°C and snow cover lasting up to 150 days, its unique geographical advantages provide ideal conditions for ice and snow recreational activities. The resort plans to develop 87 ski runs with a total length of approximately 70 kilometers and a total ski area of 262 hectares, capable of accommodating 19,610 skiers. Supporting infrastructure includes 22 cable cars with a total length of about 30 kilometers, rated uphill capacity of 32,520 people per hour (p/h), and a reasonable capacity of 18,270 people. The "Genting Ski Center" is expected to become China’s largest destination for snow appreciation, snow play, and snow entertainment, offering the perfect place to ski, admire ice, and relax amid a snowy wonderland.
