Guidan Hot Spring Area in Tainan to Close for Renovation Starting September 1

The Tainan City Government announced that Guidan Hot Spring Area will be closed starting September 1, 2016, to allow the contracted operator to renovate and reorganize the site before taking over operations. The reopening date has not yet been determined.

The Guidan Hot Spring experience pool is Tainan City’s first public hot spring foot bath. Located in Nansi District, Tainan City, the area features three open-air foot baths. The hot spring water is directly supplied from the Guidan hot spring source, offering an authentic taste of the high-quality bicarbonate hot spring water unique to Guidan.

The Tainan City Government stated that the reopening date and related operational details will be announced separately before the official reopening.
