Introduction:

Every journey is a liberation of the soul, an expression of emotion.
Either you've been lost for too long, or you've been struggling for too long.
As for me, I'm either struggling while lost, or lost while struggling.
That's why I always want to keep moving...
Especially on my own.
Because only when I'm on the road alone can I truly understand myself—I belong to myself.

Let’s start with the pre-trip preparations:

1. Car Essentials: Full set of repair tools, tow rope, wire, waterproof tape, AB glue, spare gasoline canister, shovel, hatchet, light bulbs, fuses, two spare tires, antifreeze, engine oil, oil filter, air filter, etc.

2. Medications: Band-Aids, oxygen bag, bandages, diarrhea medicine, anti-inflammatory drugs, two boxes of glucose oral solution, Isatis root granules, cold medicine, watermelon frost lozenges, Huoxiang Zhengqi water, American ginseng, cooling oil, painkillers, etc.

3. Clothing: Military overcoat, thermal underwear, sun hat, gloves, three pairs of socks, three pairs of pants, rain boots, hiking shoes, sneakers, etc.

4. Food: Eight-treasure congee, canned fruit, chewing gum, yogurt, large bottles of purified water, beverages, beef jerky, cake and chocolate, Red Bull, instant noodles, roast chicken, fruit, etc.

5. Car Accessories: Radar detector, GPS navigation, car safety monitor [this may be unfamiliar to many—it mainly includes a tilt meter, altimeter, and speed navigation (allows you to check your route and car location anytime on your phone or computer; I was really scared of breaking down in the middle of nowhere, so this is a lifesaver)].

6. Other Items: ID card, passport, various chargers, camera, camcorder, AA batteries, flashlight, knife, razor, toilet paper, plastic bags, laptop, lighter, bank cards (China Construction Bank, Postal Savings Bank), etc.

Notes:

When going to Tibet, if you want to return safely, it’s best not to play around with overtaking.
