The 2013 National Mountain Bike Championship (Huitang Station) and China Green Cycling Tour (Ningxiang Station) will take place from April 12 to 14 in Huitang Town, Ningxiang. According to information from the press conference, over 400 cyclists from more than 19 provinces have already registered to participate, including well-known domestic riders such as Duan Zhiqiang and Han Feng.
This competition is the final event of this year’s series. It features three events for adult categories: men's and women's individual time trials, men's cross-country race, and women's cross-country race, with a total of 12 awards. The China Green Cycling Tour (Ningxiang Station) includes two events—men's and women's mountain cross-country races—with a total of 9 awards. To host the first national-level sporting event in the region, the Huitang Hot Spring Tourism Resort has meticulously built Hunan Province’s first “bike-themed park,” which now includes two dedicated courses: one for professionals and one for amateurs. The professional course is 5.3 kilometers long, while the amateur course spans 4.1 kilometers.
