We arrived at the Doudian service area on time as scheduled for the activity and smoothly reached our destination — the Wudu Auto Camping Base. Since the July 21st incident last year, the Shidu scenic area in Fangshan has recovered quickly, returning to the point where, as before, just mentioning a trip to Shidu would mean dealing with crowds, causing many to give up on visiting the site. (Just for the rafting alone, the wait can be over two hours.)
