This Japanese-style sauce-braised creamy pumpkin has a sweet and savory flavor, making it perfect as a main dish, side dish, or even a light snack.

Ingredients
Pumpkin 600g
Soy sauce 2 tbsp
Sugar 2 tbsp
Miso paste 2 tbsp
Unsalted butter 1 small piece
Black sesame seeds A small amount
Method
1. First, wash the pumpkin and cut it into small pieces.

2. Steam the pumpkin for 5 minutes, then remove from heat and set aside. (Add to boiling water)

3. Next, heat oil in a pan, add the pumpkin, then stir-fry with sugar, miso paste, and soy sauce.

4. Before removing from heat, add a small piece of unsalted butter to enhance the aroma.

5. Finally, sprinkle a little black sesame seeds on top, and it’s done.

Tips
1. Seasoning brands may vary in saltiness; adjust amounts to your personal taste.
