From October 1st to 3rd, the 13th Alxa Heroes Rally in 2018 was held as scheduled at the Alxa Dream Park, deep in the Tengger Desert. The unique desert scenery, the elegant beauty of the Helan Mountains, the mysterious charm of the ancient Western Xia Dynasty, the majestic wonders of the Gobi, the ancient Juyan culture, the unrestrained Mongolian style, and the long-standing Silk Road civilization attracted millions of tourists to gather here. Mr. Jin Wenhui, Executive Vice President of Jiangling Motors Co., Ltd., and Mr. Zhao Fangcheng, General Manager of the Ford Business Unit at Jiangling Motor Sales Co., Ltd., also attended the event. All the RVs in the “Jiangling Ford Big Camp” were meticulously modified by 11 of the largest and most qualified RV customization factories in China: Shandong Juwei Automobile, Free Flying RV, Sui Feng RV, Jiangling RV, Lingyang RV, Hunan Xingtong, Hubei Shunyu, Beijing Huanda, Qufeng Special Vehicles, Shanghai Shunlv, and Hangzhou Jianggai. This was done to convey a unique RV lifestyle concept to on-site consumers, allowing them to fully experience the outstanding quality of Jiangling Ford RVs, enjoy the American-style living brought by these vehicles, and feel the rich and novel new way of travel living.
All the Jiangling Ford RVs exhibited this time are compliant with China’s National V emission standards, eligible for blue license plates, and drivable with a C1 license, offering unrestricted city travel for users to drive with confidence. When driving in the suburbs, the vehicles’ abundant safety features enhance handling stability, and the premium interiors and fully functional compartment designs offer occupants a delightful experience. In Alxa—with its colorful danxia landforms, vast deserts, and millennium-old resilient poplar trees—visitors can experience so many different types of RVs all at once, and those who came to the “Jiangling Ford Big Camp” to try them out have been full of praise.

Diverse Interactive Activities Let Guests Fully Enjoy the Festivities
During the event, the “Jiangling Ford Big Camp” not only displayed a variety of Jiangling Ford light-duty RVs, but also arranged them into the shape of the FORD logo to echo the theme of the event, allowing the brand spirit of Ford "Going Further" to run through the entire event. Additionally, there were creative activities such as the Little Bee Parade, RV Treasure Hunt Challenge, creative photo shoots, and voting for the most popular RV, ensuring that consumers who came to experience RVs had a memorable time.
The Little Bee Parade was composed of fifty Jiangling Motors sales ambassadors dressed in Jiangling Ford logos. They paraded outside the venue in designated Ford Tourneo Custom vehicles, distributing stickers and fruits to passersby, and randomly giving out invitations to the “Jiangling Ford RV Big Camp” event to guests, inviting them to participate in on-site activities and experience Jiangling Ford light-duty RVs.
Those who received an invitation could then go to the “Jiangling Ford Big Camp” to take part in the RV Treasure Hunt Challenge. Using the invitation to exchange for an experience stamp card, they could start the game. Guests would enter different RVs for an in-depth experience, getting a stamp for each one completed, and upon collecting six different stamps, they could win a gift pack. “It’s not hard at all to get the gift pack—just by experiencing all 25 RVs, the six different stamps can be easily obtained. What made me happiest was being able to try out so many different RVs all at once, which is very rare in normal circumstances. This was one of the biggest highlights of my trip to Alxa,” said one guest who took part in this activity.
During the experience, guests could also take creative group photos or shoot short videos with their favorite RVs and share them on social platforms like WeChat Moments, Weibo, or Douyin to receive a small gift. Additionally, guests could place “like” stickers on their favorite RVs. Ultimately, the new-generation Transit RV from the Free Flying customization factory received the most votes and was voted the most popular RV. Besides that, Jiangling Ford set up a BBQ area to provide beautifully prepared meals for participants, ensuring they played well, ate well, and drank well.
