The Hidden Mural Alley in Luodong’s Back Street – Discover a “Blueprint Mini Square” After Passing Through the Lane

One More Blueprint in Taiwan!! The Renhe Community in Luodong has enhanced its environment through community planning and spatial improvements. A whole wall of an old building has been painted with a large blueprint mural, and when paired with the open space in front of it, it resembles a“Blueprint Mini Square”, along with a 100-meter-long vibrant mural alley, creating a newly hidden photo spot in Luodong.

The Renhe Community was once known as Luodong’s back street, but due to many aging houses and messy alleys, it underwent community-led revitalization. Using the exterior walls of old houses on both sides of the approximately 100-meter-long Yihé Lane, the murals depict scenes of local life in the Renhe Community, painted in vivid colors and cute patterns. From the entrance of the alley, you can feel the playful and lively atmosphere.

Each exterior wall features a different theme, such as the local Rixin Theater and dental clinic, or creatively using the wall’s bumps to depict a pharmacy or comic book shop. Each wall feels like stepping into a different storybook world, making people stop to take photos.

The beautiful blueprint has also been brought into the Renhe Community, but it’s very well hidden. Visitors must first pass through a narrow, dim alley before reaching a small open space nestled between old buildings. The originally grayish, mottled old wall has been painted deep blue, with lines outlining what looks like a living room space, complete with stairs extending upwards. Depending on your angle, you can capture different views. It has attracted many visitors, and since it’s just a 5-minute bike ride from Luodong Night Market, it’s become a newly cherished local spot in Luodong.
