World’s shortest international flight route announced: Austrian Airlines flies from Switzerland to Germany in just 8 minutes!

Many people think that a 40-minute flight from Taiwan to Penghu is already very short, but no,Austrian Airlines’ People's Viennaline recently announced the world’s shortest “international flight route,” with a total flight time of just 8 minutes!
According to the UK’s Daily Mail, this is no joke—there is now a scheduled flight covering the mere 20-kilometer distance between St. Gallen in Switzerland and Friedrichshafen in Germany, operating twice daily starting November 2, with tickets priced around NT$1,200.
The two locations are separated by Lake Constance (Bodensee), so driving takes about an hour, while taking a ferry takes even longer—around 1 hour and 20 minutes. The previous shortest international flight was from Vienna to Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, which took only 10 minutes, but that route has since been discontinued.
