Located not far from MRT Mingde Station, Mingde Hall uses thinly sliced meat cut to a golden ratio to preserve tenderness and freshness. The meat slices are freshly sliced upon ordering, resulting in especially juicy and flavorful hot pot. Especially when the plate-sized meat—bigger than a face—arrives at your table, it often causes a stir among first-time diners.

Opened in July, Dashochi Shabu Shabu is located in the high-end dining district of East Taipei, just a 2-minute walk from the Exit of Taipei Memorial Hall MRT Station. The average cost is around NT$300–500, and there’s also an option to add more meat. Dashochi Shabu Shabu broth is additive-free, brewed purely from kelp. This restaurant stands out for its premium quality meat, especially the top-grade American Prime beef — be sure to give it a try!

Also situated in the premium food district, the newly opened Gogogo Meat Stone Pot Hotpot in August features an all-white interior style that resembles a café. Unlike regular kelp hotpot, the owner claims that their stone pot hotpot, after being infused with spices, not only offers rich aroma but also maintains excellent flavor even after cooking large amounts of meat. Prices at Gogogo Meat start from NT$390 up to NT$990, with base meat portions weighing 6.5 ounces and the largest portion going up to 15 ounces.
