On August 25, 2014, the second day of competition commenced at the 12th China International Mountain Outdoor Sports Open (Chongqing "Wulong"). The day featured clear skies, a welcome change after days of rain. Competitors raced over a cumulative 53-kilometer course, tackling events including downhill, mountain biking, canyon crossings, and kayaking. The Red Bull Team secured third place for the day with a time of 5 hours, 3 minutes, and 40 seconds, closely trailing the second-place Explorer Team with nearly identical overall performance. The gap between the two teams was just one minute in mountain biking and two seconds in kayaking, with the Red Bull Team even outperforming the first-place team in the kayaking event. The Red Bull II Team continued its steady performance, ranking second among domestic teams.
