The Wild Life Festival’s Central China Camping Ground Makes a Grand Debut – Gather Friends and Family for a Picnic Together

ETtoday EBC News Cloud held the “Good Friends Wild Life Festival” today (15th) at the Taipei Central China Camping Ground. The event featured live band performances, pet fashion shows, a stargazing cinema, gift giveaways, and more, along with opportunities for camping and picnicking. Although heavy rain poured in the morning, the weather cleared up in the afternoon, drawing increasing crowds and attracting more members of the public, camping enthusiasts, and their friends and family to join in the fun.

Although it rained heavily in the morning and didn’t let up, once the weather cleared in the afternoon, registered campers began setting up their tents one after another, preparing for picnics and other activities. Ms. Lin, who signed up for the camp with her friends and family, said that after hearing about the event from a friend, she decided to bring her family along to spend the weekend together. Ms. You, who registered with colleagues and family, mentioned that since she usually enjoys picnics and outdoor activities with friends, she decided to go camping this time after seeing the Wild Life Festival information.

The event also featured camping experts and related sponsors sharing outdoor knowledge. Mr. Xiao Bowen, Business Manager at Explore International Co., Ltd., noted that during camping, equipment such as tents and clothing may sometimes get damaged. It’s advisable to carry portable specialized tape or silicone sealants for permanent repairs before heading out. Additionally, beginners should be aware that when there’s a light breeze, mosquitoes tend to gather on the downwind side to avoid being blown away, so tents should be set up with the entrance facing the wind to prevent mosquitoes from entering when going in and out.
