Shanghai, March 11, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Under the guidance of the Shanghai Tourism Industry Association, Shanghai Sinoexpo Informa Markets Co., Ltd. has joined hands with Shanghai Wanrun Hotel Supplies Market to launch an event that combines a hotel housekeeping skills competition and a linens product showdown. This initiative aims to showcase the skills in hotel room services and the development trends of hotel linens, comprehensively enhancing the quality of both, while also providing a platform for communication between hotels and linen manufacturers. Last year, a total of 46 star-rated hotels in Shanghai participated in the skills competition. The contest mainly evaluated contestants on basic housekeeping skills such as making beds with sheets, duvet covers, down comforters, and pillow inserts, while also demonstrating the efficient and skilled service provided by hotel housekeeping staff—reflecting the high-standard, standardized service of star-rated hotels. Registration for this year is now underway, with several star-rated hotels including New Jinjiang Hotel, Garden Hotel, and Shanghai Longemont Hotel having already confirmed their participation.

Best Hotel Linens Selection
