The well-known tripe shop from Hong Kong,“Thirteen Stalls Tripe”recently posted on Facebook an announcement about its temporary closure, stating that due to difficulties sourcing ingredients in Taiwan, it will temporarily cease operations starting at 11 p.m. on the 30th.

At its peak, “Thirteen Stalls Tripe” had multiple outlets in Hong Kong. Two years ago, struggling with high rents and staff shortages in Hong Kong, it decided to shift its focus to Taiwan, reopening in the bustling Shilin Night Market that same September. With its unique sauce flavor and hearty ingredients, it quickly won the hearts of food lovers. The shop's tasty tripe earned a strong reputation, becoming one of the must-try delicacies for many tourists visiting Shilin Night Market.

When news of the closure broke, many customers left comments expressing their disappointment. The owner also promised, “We’ll definitely come back once we find reliable ingredient sources.” However, as stable supplies have yet to be secured, the decision was made to temporarily suspend business for now. Reminder: The shop will stop operating at 11 p.m. on the 30th, while home delivery services will stop taking orders at 11 p.m. on the 29th. All products are available only while stocks last.
