Chasing idols makes Taipei more fun!City Star Discovery – Taipei Idol Drama TourToday (the 21st), a press conference was held to release the latest 2016 edition. Taipei City Government Department of Information and Tourism Director-General Jane Yuyan, as well as actress Tsai Huangru (Bean Curd Girl) and actor Zhang Liang, who starred in 1989 One Thought Away, attended the event to discuss the most “star-studded” ways to explore Taipei.

Director-General Jane Yuyan of the Department of Information and Tourism stated that the star-chasing guide was very popular with travelers when it was first launched last year. This year’s 2016 edition of City Star Discovery – Taipei Idol Drama Tour combines several recent high-quality dramas, including:Five popular movies that broke box office records: Our Times, Drunken To Love You, Six Entrapments Café, My Egg Boy, and Kung Fu Soccer; as well as idol dramas such as Falling in Love with a Scoundrel, 1989 One Thought Away, The Perfect Match, Me and My Seventeen, Purple Tamsui and The Brilliant Times of the Post-Birds.

At today’s press conference, Tsai Huangru (Bean Curd Girl), who has hosted outdoor programs, expressed a special fondness for Taipei’s alleyways and old streets. She recommended that visitors stroll through the city streets to experience its unique vibe. Zhang Liang left his on-screen first kiss of the year at Fu Jin No. 3 Park. They also recommended the scenic Yangmingshan or parks, which are perfect spots for couples to visit and create lasting memories.
