The “2016 Penghu Bay Beach Run” will take place on the 23rd. To maintain safety and order at the event venue, traffic control measures will be in place during the race. Travelers are advised to take note.
Penghu boasts one of the world’s most beautiful bays, and its golden beaches allow travelers to enjoy breathtaking blue seas without leaving the country. The Penghu Bay Beach Run, which began in recent years, has also sparked a new trend in sports tourism in the area.
To ensure order on the day of the run on the 23rd, three major traffic control measures will be implemented in the surrounding areas:
First, only local residents' motor vehicles, VIP cars, and the public's motorcycles will be allowed access from County Road 204 to the entrance of Aimen Beach.
Second, for those driving, please park at the Lintou Park parking lot, the open plaza in front of Lintou Phoenix Temple, or the Lintou Visitor Center parking lot (including parking along both sides of the road). At that time, the public will need to walk through the Lintou Park corridor to Aimen Beach or take the event shuttle bus to enter the venue.
Third, the event shuttle buses will depart from Magong and make stops at two designated, non-fixed-time shuttle points: the Lintou Park parking lot and the Lintou Visitor Center parking lot. Additionally, those who parked at the plaza in front of Lintou Phoenix Temple are advised to proceed directly to the nearest shuttle point to board a bus to the venue.
