On June 2, the "Baosteel (China) and Huayuan International Travel Signing Ceremony for Tourism Cooperation in Greece and France" co-hosted by Baosteel (China) Co., Ltd. and Huayuan International Travel Co., Ltd. was grandly held at the Asia-Pacific operational headquarters of Baosteel (China). At the event, Baosteel (China) announced that it will organize over 4,000 outstanding business partners for high-end travel to Paris, France, and over 300 for high-end travel to Greece. This event marks the largest incentive tour from China to Paris and also the largest incentive tour from China to Greece in history. The event is being fully handled by Huayuan International Travel, China’s largest outbound travel service provider, serving as a key platform to showcase the charm of both French and Chinese cultures, enhancing mutual understanding and communication among people of different nations. This also represents another meaningful step by Baosteel (China) in fulfilling its corporate vision of building international friendship bridges and promoting global harmony.

Huayuan International Travel Gains Strongest Confidence in MICE Tourism

In 2014, Ctrip, together with CITIC PE Funds, strategically invested in Huayuan International Travel, becoming its largest shareholder. This injection of strong capital support, coupled with the backing of CITIC PE Funds — which has shown strong optimism toward the tourism industry in recent years — provides additional upstream resources and downstream channel support to Huayuan International Travel. The company has put forth tremendous effort on this project, and its MICE division, leveraging Huayuan’s robust European tour operation strength, successfully handled two 100-person incentive tour groups to Northern Europe in June, followed by securing Baosteel’s major Paris project. This has significantly boosted confidence within Huayuan’s MICE division, and the company will continue to work diligently in providing solid support for large-client MICE travel services.
