Tim Ho Wan officially opened its doors on the first floor of Taoyuan Taimall on November 2, becoming its seventh branch in Taiwan. For every new branch launch, Tim Ho Wan has traditionally introduced a signature chef’s menu. This time, the Taoyuan Taimall branch features the Steamed Mixed Seafood Tofu, Hong Kong-style Curry Pork Skin Fish Balls, and Taro Sago as chef’s recommendations, with the Steamed Mixed Seafood Tofu being an entirely new dish.

The Steamed Mixed Seafood Tofu is made by stuffing diced squid and shrimp paste into tofu and then steaming it to preserve the original flavors of the ingredients. It is priced at NT$128. The Hong Kong-style Curry Pork Skin Fish Balls and Taro Sago are previously existing menu items. The curry combines fresh pork skin, fish balls, radish, and other ingredients with uniquely Hong Kong-style sauces to deliver an authentic taste.

To celebrate the opening of the Taoyuan Taimall branch, five other Tim Ho Wan branches across Taiwan have updated their chef’s recommendation menus starting October 24, while the Era Times Square branch has refreshed its breakfast menu.
