EVA Airways' First Flight to Chicago  Non-stop Route Saves 7 Hours

EVA Airways launched its first flight to Chicago today (the 2nd), officially opening its 8th destination in North America. The Taipei–Chicago outbound flight takes approximately 14 hours, and the return journey about 15-plus hours, saving around 7 hours compared to the previous route via a transfer in Los Angeles.

EVA Airways held a ribbon-cutting ceremony this afternoon, where it also offered guests a taste of Chicago’s famous Garrett popcorn, allowing them to enjoy an authentic taste of the city ahead of time. Located at the heart of the North American continent, Chicago is one of the most important railway and aviation hubs in the United States, as well as a major center for finance, futures, and commodity trading. Known as the "City of Architecture," Chicago is also the birthplace of skyscrapers and boasts one of the world’s most beautiful skylines, attracting over 40 million visitors from around the globe every year.

Starting today, EVA Airways will operate four flights per week between Taipei and Chicago using the Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, which features 39 business class seats, 56 premium economy seats, 238 economy seats, totaling 333 seats.
