Qi Hong, Chairman of Taiwu Tourism Resort Co., Ltd., announced “Taiwu is here.” In the first ski season following the successful bid for the Winter Olympics, the ski resort of Taiwu Ski Resort will begin trial operations on December 15.
With a total investment exceeding 20 billion yuan, the Taiwu Ski Resort is currently the largest comprehensive ski resort in China. The resort is planned to achieve “full base lodge access,” meaning that ski runs and lifts are built near multiple affiliated hotels within the Taiwu Ski Resort. Ski enthusiasts can easily enjoy the convenience of skiing directly from their hotel onto the slopes, or skiing straight back into their hotel after getting off the lift. At the launch ceremony that day, dozens of dignitaries, guests, celebrities, and notable figures from the General Administration of Sport of China, the Chinese Ski Association, Zhangjiakou, Chongli, as well as the business, finance, sports, and entertainment sectors, jointly witnessed the official unveiling of the “Taiwu Ski Resort” — “dancing with nature.”
