Central Taiwan Bicycle Rental Station Relocates; New Station at Machangding Memorial Park Opens on the 12th

The Central Taiwan rental station is moving to Machangding Memorial Park Up！ To accommodate construction under the Central Taiwan Bridge, the original bicycle rental station beneath the bridge in Wanhua District, Taipei City, will relocate on November 7, 2016. The new Machangding rental station will officially begin operations on November 12, 2016.

The Machangding rental station can be reached by entering from the end of Qingnian Road (Xinyi Evacuation Gate) and turning left. The area currently features a light meal service zone, making it ideal for families to enjoy a casual bike ride. The Water Resources Bureau stated that there are a total of 10 riverbank bicycle rental stations in Taipei, with rental hours from 8 AM to 8 PM (holiday stations until 6 PM).

Transportation information for Machangding Memorial Park: Bus — Qingnian Road Station, take buses 12, 205, 212, 630, or Blue 29, walk about 5–10 minutes along Qingnian Road, pass the (Xinyi) Evacuation Gate, and you will arrive. Parking info: Underground parking lot at Qingnian Park Golf Course (No. 5, Guoxing Road), as well as surface parking at Machangding Memorial Park and the riverside parking lot beneath the Central Taiwan Bridge.
