On October 30, Terui Zhijie Sports, dedicated to bringing diverse and enjoyable experiences to winter sports enthusiasts in China, held a press conference in Beijing, announcing that the intelligent ski runs jointly developed with multiple ski resorts will officially launch this winter. Alongside the upgraded China Elite Ski League and the newly established China Ski Racing Federation (CSSF) point system, Terui Zhijie Sports willbring more diversified experiences to skiing enthusiasts during the 2016-2017 snow season. Attendees at the press conference included Wanlong Ski Resort, Songhua Lake Ski Resort, Beidahu Ski Resort, Qinghai Satellite TV, Hao Shihua Ski School, as well as ski clubs and enthusiasts from across the country.
For a long time, there have been relatively few facilities available for the general skiing public to practice and improve their skills, but the intelligent ski run is a professionally designed track specifically for amateur skiers. This year, Terui Zhijie Sports has partnered with Wanlong Ski Resort, Songhua Lake Ski Resort, and Beidahu Ski Resort to introduce top-tier electronic timing systems and equipment certified by the International Ski Federation (FIS),LISKIalong with gate course systems and high-tech automatic tracking camera systems, forming a platform-level intelligent ski run. After skiing on these intelligent runs at the three resorts, participants will be able toPCview their run times and download video footage on both web and mobile platforms, providing comprehensive support to help them improve their skills.

Thanks to the launch of the intelligent ski runs, the long-running China Elite Ski League will be comprehensively upgraded this winter. Starting inDecember and spanning the entire snow season, over 300 races will be held on the intelligent ski runs at the three resorts. Competitors’ results in daily races (held on weekdays), weekly races (held on weekends), and monthly races (held on fixed dates each month) will all contribute to rankings at each resort under the China Elite Ski League. Top-ranked skiers in the monthly races will be invited to the 2016-2017 China Elite Ski League Annual Finals, where the overall champion will earn the opportunity to represent China in international competitions. In addition to adult slalom and pursuit events, a new youth (children’s) category has been added this year, offering “skiing second-generation” athletes a chance to compete. Renowned automaker Subaru China has partnered with Terui Zhijie Sports to sponsor four top-tier league events this season. Hao Shihua Ski School will continue to provide professional officiating services. Moreover, Qinghai Satellite TV will film the entire competition, capturing valuable documentary footage, while friends and family of finalists can cheer them on live via Qinghai Satellite TV broadcasts.
Meanwhile, the China Ski Racing Federation (CSSF), initiated and founded by Terui Zhijie Sports, will also launch this winter. The China Ski Racing Federation will be the largest standardized and large-scale ski racing system in China, encompassing a wide variety of skiing events including slalom, pursuit, and freestyle. The organizing committee will categorize events within the federation based on their scale. The China Ski Racing Federation will implement a point system and reward mechanism, with every race held on an intelligent ski run contributing to individual scores. By checking their scores on the official China Ski Racing Federation website, every skiing enthusiast can clearly track their progress on the slopes.
At the end of the launch ceremony, Yunding Liyuan offered a grand prize of a deluxe cruise package for two—the Yunding Liyuan is the first ski-in/ski-out apartment in China located at theheart of the 2022 Winter Olympics venue. This snow season, Yunding Liyuan will continue to collaborate with Terui Zhijie Sports to bring an even more comprehensive mountain service experience to skiing enthusiasts.
