Most people’s impression of Hong Kong streets might be cluttered shop signs, densely packed stores, and bustling crowds,but just a five-minute walk from MTR Wan Chai Station, Lee Tung Street instantly transforms the busy metropolis into a quaint slice of Europe.With its colorful European-style architecture, specialty cafés, and trees lit up at night, the street exudes exotic charm both day and night—it’s Hong Kong’s newest hotspot for Instagram-worthy photos.

Lee Tung Street was formerly known as“Wedding Card Street,” famous for printing wedding invitations and stationery. After the Hong Kong government’s urban redevelopment project in 2016, it was transformed into a charming shopping street with European flair. The area boasts a diverse range of shops, from Korean beauty brands and German stationery stores to French cast-iron cookware boutiques and jewelry shops—some of which are even the only ones of their kind in Hong Kong or Asia. The dining options are equally varied, with cafés, bars, and international cuisines, each offering its own unique character.
