ERC Café Ada AYong

Located in Neihu District, ERC Café Ada AYong combines two big trends this year: super-popular container architecture and dreamy glass houses. The transparent dining space on the second floor is absolutely gorgeous—most customers can’t resist taking a few extra photos here. From the outside looking up at the second-floor glass house, it seems as though it’s floating in mid-air, creating a magical visual effect. This unique glass house café has quickly become a popular Instagram check-in spot.

HowFun Hideaway VVG Hideaway

Located on Yangmingshan, HowFun Hideaway VVG Hideaway is 100% dreamy. From the entrance, you’re greeted by greenery. Walk through a black carved wooden gate, climb a short flight of stone steps, and you’ll see a white building surrounded by trees. HowFun Hideaway combines large transparent glass panels with white architecture—even the ceiling is transparent, allowing plenty of natural light. As a result, every corner is incredibly photogenic.

You don’t need to go abroad to feel like you’re in another country. Even just sitting by the window with a coffee, the scenery is mesmerizing, with lush greenery stretching out as far as the eye can see—as if you’re in a fairytale cottage deep in the jungle.

Mills Café Bistro (formerly Story Teahouse)

Located next to Taipei Story House at Yuanshan MRT Station, Mills Café Bistro is situated on the former site of Story Teahouse. It took over operations about six months ago and the new team changed the menu to mainly Spanish cuisine, in addition to offering drinks and coffee. The main building remains unchanged—and it’s still a stunning glass house. Inside and outside the glass structure, you can watch planes fly overhead, making it a unique highlight here.

Mills Café Bistro has both indoor and outdoor dining areas. Even before entering the restaurant, you’ll spot a colorful and eye-catching little boat parked right here—it’s quite adorable. The atmosphere of the open-air patio is fantastic, designed to resemble a foreign holiday bar!

Drip Coffee at NTU

Located next to National Taiwan University, Drip Coffee is one of the first examples of asset revitalization in the area. After being abandoned for two or three years, it was contracted out for operation seven years ago, and Mr. Bao leased it to personally create the glasshouse structure.

Drip Coffee is a standalone building made of wood and transparent glass. Without an arcade, it sits directly along the street, creating a more complete interaction with passersby. Especially using thick safety glass to block out external noise, sitting here sipping coffee while watching pedestrians come and go is like viewing a series of paintings. The shop mainly sells coffee and cakes. On a leisurely afternoon, quietly enjoy a cup of coffee, take in the scenery outside the glasshouse, and savor a rare moment of tranquility in the urban jungle.
