The award-winning Dragonair has today“Cathay Dragon”as its new brand identity, operating closely alongside Cathay Pacific. Leveraging their respective regional and international networks, the airlines will deliver a smoother and more seamless travel experience for passengers.
In January this year, Dragonair announced its name change to Cathay Dragon, with the brand refresh commencing early in the year. To date, the most noticeable change is the new aircraft livery, which features Cathay Pacific’s iconic “brushwing” emblem. This highlights the close connection between the two airlines and their extensive regional and international network.
Cathay Dragon operates a fleet of 42 aircraft and serves 52 destinations, and is well known for its distinctive Chinese cultural elements and warm hospitality. It also preserves the essence of contemporary Chinese culture in various aspects, especially in its inflight catering. Cathay Dragon frequently collaborates with renowned Chinese and local fine-dining establishments. For example, it has recently launchedthe “Fengwei Cookies” Cha Chaan Teng series, along with seasonal dishes available throughout the year, such as basin meals, winter melon hot pot, crab roe dishes, and clay pot rice.
