Kaohsiung has been rated one of Asia's top five cycling cities by CNN. With its urban bays, fishing harbors, small villages, and friendly locals adding warmth to the city, the municipal government promotes six classic cycling routes. These allow visitors to slowly explore Kaohsiung’s mountains, fields, coasts, lakesides, wetlands, and harbors by bike—highly recommended for travelers visiting the city.

1. 【Cultural History Route】Love River & Lotus Pond
Distance: Approximately 27 km
