A must-see and must-photo spot for Gundam fans: the latest anime exclusive display in Odaiba

The DiverCity Tokyo shopping mall, which features the famous 1:1 scale Unicorn Gundam statue in Odaiba, Tokyo, Japan, has collaborated with model manufacturer Bandai Spirits Japan to hold the "Gundam Build Divers: Battle Operation Code Next Festival 2018" exhibition from now until September 2, in line with the release of the latest Gundam series "Gundam Build Divers: Battle Operation Code Next" in early April this year.

The "Gundam Build Divers: Battle Operation Code Next Festival 2018," held at DiverCity Tokyo in Odaiba, Tokyo, centers around the 1:1 scale Unicorn Gundam statue on Festival Plaza, with an additional 1:1 scale Gundam head model placed on the plaza staircase. Gundam fans can not only appreciate every detail of the Gundam head up close, but also enjoy an updated version of the exciting WALL-G light show as part of the special event.

The theme song "Cage" from "Mobile Suit Gundam UC SPECIAL MOVIE" “Cage” by SawanoHiroyuki[nZk]:Tielle was specially composed by renowned Japanese composer Hiroyuki Sawano for the 1:1 scale Unicorn Gundam statue. In this special event, new footage from "Mobile Suit Gundam NT" has been added, and you can even catch a glimpse of the limited-edition gold-plated Unicorn Gundam (scheduled to be updated by the end of July 2018).

Additionally, "Mobile Suit Gundam UC RE:MIX0096" is an edited compilation of classic animation scores and scenes. This project has been updated to include the highly popular new armor design of the Unicorn Gundam (scheduled to be updated by the end of September 2018). The WALL-G light projection show runs nightly from 19:00 to 21:30, with a new show every 30 minutes.

Different themed exhibitions will also be held on various floors of the mall during the event period. Not only will entrances, elevator doors, and pillars be transformed into cute or cool Gundam characters, but shoppers can also discover hidden cute character boards among the crowds while browsing shops. Moreover, the fourth-floor corridor will display various generations of Gunpla models produced by Bandai Namco Group, and the event will also feature a series of stamp-collecting and Gunpla assembly experiences, making it a grand Gundam celebration for fans.
