As the warm and joyful Christmas season approaches, many department stores and hotels have begun their festive preparations. The Christmas tree, acclaimed as the tallest and most magnificent in Taipei City, located at the Mandarin Oriental Taipei and Mandarin Gallery fountain plaza, will also be illuminated on the evening of the 2nd at 6 PM. This dazzling 20-meter-tall tree, with an 8-meter base diameter, will be decorated with elegant LED lights in candy-themed designs, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of Europe’s charming holiday streets.

Since its opening in 2014, the Mandarin Oriental Taipei and Mandarin Gallery have annually presented uniquely designed Christmas trees that illuminate Taipei’s streets with breathtaking brilliance. Each year, this beloved holiday spectacle draws crowds eager to soak in the festive spirit and capture memorable photos. This year, the hotel is also supporting charity during the Christmas season by launching the “Beloved Tribute, Bears Love You” fundraising campaign. All proceeds from the sale will be donated to the “Beloved Love Orchestra” at Zhongxing Elementary School in Nantou County, helping indigenous children from Taiwan’s remote areas. Everyone is invited to join in this act of kindness.
