BAKE Pineapple Coconut Cheese Tart Launches Exclusively at Four Locations Nationwide

From Hokkaido, Japan—the legendary cheese tart brand BAKE CHEESE TART, which sells over 35 million units annually—will launch a globally exclusive summer limited-edition new product, the “Pineapple Coconut Cheese Tart,” available daily in limited quantities of 300 per store.

Following its 2016 long-selling classic Hokkaido cheese tart (original flavor), Valentine’s Day limited-edition chocolate cheese tart, and Setouchi honey lemon cheese tart, BAKE CHEESE TART will introduce more seasonally limited new flavors for the Taiwanese market starting in the second half of this year. The summer highlight is the newly launched “Pineapple Coconut Cheese Tart.”

Yin Mu Masaki, CEO of Taiwan Bakey Co., Ltd., said: “Summer is the peak season for pineapples, and Taiwanese pineapples at this time are crisp, juicy, sweet, moderately acidic, and have fine fibers. Taiwanese pineapples pair perfectly with cheese tarts. During the R&D process, we specially selected coarser coconut shreds, which are lightly toasted in the oven to release a subtle coconut aroma, accentuating the sweet-and-sour flavor of the pineapple and the richness of the cheese filling, creating a more tropical, South Seas-inspired summer taste.”

The BAKE CHEESE TART Pineapple Coconut Cheese Tart is available daily in limited quantities of 300 per store from now until August 31, priced at NT$85 per tart or NT$490 for a box of six. Limited-time combo discounts are also available at four stores in northern, central, and southern Taiwan. Combo A: Buy three “Classic Hokkaido Cheese Tarts” and three “Pineapple Coconut Cheese Tarts” for a special price of NT$435 (original price NT$465).
