Tapping is more convenient — EVA Air launches the “EVAMobile” app

The smartphone trend has swept the globe, and companies are rolling out dedicated apps to offer more convenient services. EVA Air has launched the “EVA Mobile” app for its large mobile business traveler audience. It offers interfaces in Traditional Chinese, English, and Simplified Chinese, and is available as a free download for both iPhone, iPod touch, and Android smartphones. The iPad version of the app will be launched in November.

EVA Mobile provides five key functions: “Flight Information,” “Booking Inquiry,” “EVA Airways Privilege Club,” “Special Fares,” and “Contact Us.” Passengers can use EVA Mobile to check booking records, flight schedules, actual arrival and departure times, or set up SMS alert notifications. They can also customize frequently used flight routes to stay updated on special ticket deals, or log in to access their membership details, check their accumulated mileage, and view exclusive offers — all very convenient.

EVA Air states that passengers can simply search for “EVA Air” in the Apple App Store and Android Market via their smartphones to immediately download the app for free. For those not using a smartphone, they can also access EVA Mobile web by connecting to EVA Air’s official website through their mobile browser — a great option to take advantage of.
