Tim Ho Wan makes its debut at the Princess Cruises booth, with more deals at the Summer Travel Exhibition

The largest summer travel event, the "2018 Taipei International Summer Travel Exhibition" (2018 Summer Travel Exhibition), will be held from July 20 to July 23, 2018, at Hall 1 of the Taipei World Trade Center. Michelin one-star Hong Kong eatery "Tim Ho Wan" and "Princess Cruises" are making their debut appearances. Princess Cruises is also offering exclusive exhibition discounts, including up to NT$10,000 off per room or second person half price on selected sailings/cabins.

Making its debut, Princess Cruises will host an on-site check-in and photo activity. Simply take a photo with Princess Cruises' mascot "Stanley the Bear" at the event and upload it to participate in a draw to win a limited-edition "bathrobe Stanley bear" plush toy. In addition, Princess Cruises' ship "Majestic Princess" will return to Keelung Port from April to July 2019, with new Japan-Korea dual-country itineraries. Meanwhile, the summer family favorite "Sun Princess" and the autumn-winter Japanese-style experience cruise "Diamond Princess" are each offering one of two great exhibition-only deals, including up to NT$10,000 off per room or second person half price on selected sailings/cabins.

Tim Ho Wan, which has earned one Michelin star in Hong Kong for nine consecutive years, is also launching exclusive deals for its first exhibition appearance. The "Exhibition Super Value Cash Voucher" is available at a minimum discount of 22% off (up to 78% of original price), saving up to NT$12,000; the exhibition-exclusive combo "Michelin Classic Set Voucher" features a selection of the top 7 popular dishes, including XO sauce Chinese sausage fried rice, crispy BBQ pork buns, pan-fried radish cake, shrimp siu mai, crystal shrimp dumplings, shrimp skin rolls, mango pomelo sago, and barley water. The set is available at a minimum 22% off (up to 78% of original price), saving up to NT$5,960. Tim Ho Wan will also premiere an exclusive Taiwan-only chef’s special “Premium XO Sauce Gift Box” at the exhibition, carefully crafted with precious small pearl clams and premium golden hook shrimp. Originally priced at NT$498, it is available at a special price of NT$450.

During the event, the organizers will also launch activities such as "800 Red Packets Giveaway," "Visit and Log In to Win Big," "Spend to Win Good Luck," and "Visit the Exhibition and Enjoy Delicious Food." The first 200 eligible visitors queuing before 10:00 AM each day at the event area can receive a number card, which allows them to get a free red packet containing prizes such as round-trip flights to Japan, travel peripherals, and premium accommodation vouchers. Additionally, all visitors with any type of ticket can receive a QR code; by scanning the QR code and filling out an online form, they can enter to win round-trip flights to Hong Kong, accommodation vouchers, or brand-name suitcases.

Additionally, those who spend a cumulative total of NT$10,000 (inclusive) or more on shopping receipts, invoices, or bills on the day of the exhibition can exchange them for a lottery ticket at the event gift area. Each person can exchange for a maximum of one ticket, with chances to win selected accommodation vouchers, meal vouchers, travel gear sets, and even a grand prize round-trip flight to Korea. Those who spend a cumulative total of NT$3,000 (inclusive) or more on “food and local specialties” on the exhibition day can also exchange their receipts, invoices, or bills for a lottery ticket at the gift area, with each person allowed a maximum of one ticket to win food meal vouchers, souvenir gifts, or accommodation vouchers.
