The blue giant descends on the rooftop—Dali Art Plaza’s newest must-photo spot!

Situated within the Taichung Software Park, “Dali Art Plaza” blends cultural creativity with art and regularly holds major art exhibitions, making it a new creative hub in Taichung. Recently, a surprising highlight has appeared—a giant blue figure sitting atop a building in the park, deep in thought, as if entering a mysterious restricted zone.

This blue giant is called “The Thinker No. 42,” the largest installation art piece in Taiwan. Next to the giant is also a huge rose, prompting passersby to stop for photos. In addition, the plaza features other photogenic installations, including pink animals and The Thinker.

Dali Art Plaza is a national key project under the Ministry of Economic Affairs. It hosts exhibitions by renowned domestic and international artists, live concerts, international auctions, art and cultural innovation forums, international artist villages, as well as a series of events including large-scale performances, seminars, art film screenings, craft workshops, and performance competitions.
