Tourism Center / Comprehensive Report
Parked by the Love River embankment, this bus is painted in a warm cypress red hue, exuding a nostalgic vibe. Unlike regular buses, although it allows passengers to get on and off, it never actually departs. Instead of a driver, you’re served by a master chef’s exceptional craftsmanship and soul-warming ramen. This creative twist that breaks all the rules has captivated netizens far and wide.
This ramen-focused“Artisan Ramen Bus”has gained massive fame since last year, thanks to its unique concept and heartwarming cuisine. It can be spotted across various platforms including blogs, Facebook, and Instagram.

Not only is the exterior super eye-catching, but the ramen-shaped bus interior is also remarkably special. The original bus space has been creatively modified: the rear is turned into an open kitchen, while both sides are designed as dining areas. Due to the compact size of the mini bus, there are only 14 seats in total. Before guests “board,” the owner hands out numbered tickets, each corresponding to a designated seating area on the bus.
The top ceiling, walkways, and long tables are all finished in wood, creating a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. Occasionally, floral arrangements can be spotted, and when paired with the Love River night view visible through the windows, lucky diners might even catch a glimpse of fireworks and starry skies — crafting a truly dreamy ambiance.

The steaming hot ramen is available in three choices: Genki Tonkotsu, Red Miso, and Spicy Zanthoxylum. For those who don’t prefer spicy food, the Genki Tonkotsu is recommended. It’s made by simmering pork bones at high heat to produce a rich, savory, and salty broth. A salt-sealing technique locks in the umami, making the slices of char siu thick and delicious. All topped with chewy, springy noodles, it delivers a truly authentic ramen experience.
The latter two spicy ramen varieties have also received high praise from numerous netizens. The spicy sauce is perfectly blended into the broth. Those who’ve tried it say that while it leaves a slight tingling sensation, it’s incredibly satisfying. Come winter, enjoying ramen here becomes a true culinary delight.

For many young people, the next step after eating and drinking is to “feed their cameras.” Given how unique the “Artisan Ramen Bus” is, a photo session is naturally a must. At the front of the bus, there’s a free area where you can snap fun pictures pretending to be the driver. Next to the ramen shop, the bright red torii gate is another hot photo spot. Capturing both the bus and the torii gate in the same frame is the most popular way to take a memorable shot.
